Lori, Gretta and Caroline Visit!!

Lori, Gretta and Caroline came home for a visit last week. We were so excited to see them and we headed over to Amery for dinner at T & P's house. It was a great time and we can't wait to spend more time with them in the coming week.

6 Months (Went way too fast!)

The girls had their 6 month appts. on 8/20 and they are growing like weeds! Here are their stats:
Aftin - 17 lbs. 2 ozs. and 26.5 inches long which puts her in the 75th percentile for both weight and height. Her head circumference is in the 20th percentile now so the cap must be working.
Bailee - 18 lbs. 2 ozs. and 27.5 inches long which puts her in the 85th and 95th percentile for weight and height. Her round head is in the 65th percentile.

Where did the time go? I can't believe 6 months has already gone by.

Pool Side

We spent some time at Buddy and Michelle's house with Troy, Jennie and the kids. It was a great time and the girls just love hanging out with their cousins.

Sitting Pretty

Bailee and Aftin have started sitting a couple weeks ago and here's a picture of Bailee and I will try to get one of Aftin soon.

Skydiving/No Hands

Bailee has taken up a new pose recently. She is obsessed with putting up her arms and legs in the air as if she's skydiving. It's absolutely hilarious as you can see Aftin is laughing in the background. I also call this pose "Look ma, no hands".

Bailee spent some pool time with Ashton. They make a cute couple...We'll see.

Daddy and Bailee

Lance and Bailee went for a walk in the back woods and used the carrier for the first time. As you can see Bailee loved every second!

Date Night

We had a date night with our friends Mike and Laurie. The girls spent time with Nana while we went to dinner.

Besties

The girls got to spend time with their bestie Maggie recently. They all had a ball and hopefully the girls can learn from Maggie on sitting and kneeling skills.

The girls got a new table to play with and had fun sharing their new toy. Aftin didn't want to look at the camera and Bailee even tried to get her attention in one of the pictures but it didn't help.

Real Food!!

The girls ate their first real meal tonight. I made some baby food this last weekend so the girls have sweet potatoes and butternut squash. We decided to try out butternut squash first. The girls didn't seem to think that it was the best ever so we'll if they like sweet potatoes more. Lance got a little video of Rookie and Stoli while we were feeding the girls so I thought I would add that too.

On Saturday the girls and I went to spend time with Jenny, Cody and also Jenny's best friend Melanie came to visit for the weekend with her little ones, Lily and Tom.
