After all the birthday fun we decided to get out and head to the Mall of America with the Pattersons. The girls had so much fun watching all the people. Lance and Michael even got a chance to try out a ride.

Cody and the Rocking Horse

The girls' friend Cody celebrated at the birthday party and I got some video of him having fun on their rocking horse. He looks like a natural.

Children's Museum

We continued celebrating the girls' birthday on Friday by going to the Children's Museum in St. Paul. Prior to heading to the museum we stopped at my work to visit. Here are a few pics of the girls exploring.

The girls got to celebrate their birthday with most of their immediate family. We all met up at Pete's Pizza and had a great time eating too much and loving the variety of desserts.

The Rocking Chair

Nana has had a special rocking chair from when I was little and has taken pictures of every grandchild in it. Here's the photo shoot of the girls in it. They loved the chair but it was hard to get them to settle down while in it.

1st Year Birthday Week

The girls are turning 1 on Thursday so I wanted to celebrate on the blog by changing a few things up. I can't believe how quickly the year has gone. They are such beautiful, intelligent, inquisitive, sweet, little girls. They have changed our lives in so many way these last 12 months. I absolutely love each and every day that I spend with them and feel so lucky to be their mommy. There have been so many firsts, first rolling over, first smile, first night they slept through the night (thank god), first tooth and so on... There are so many firsts ahead of us that are going to be just as amazing. We are so lucky to have them and can't imagine life without them now. I wouldn't change anything in my life, the girls have made it perfectly complete.
