Field Trip to Como Zoo with Daycare

Last Friday I got a chance to go to Como Zoo with the girls and their daycare friends.  It was so beautiful out and it meant a lot for me to be able to spend time with my girls.  The girls got to ride on a school bus and thought it was so cool.  I can't wait to go on another field trip with First Lutheran Daycare.

Upper Turtle Rocks!

We went to Nana and Papa's cabin and hung out on the lake for awhile.  It was so hot and felt good to be in the water.  It was also the girls' first time on the jet ski.  They couldn't get enough of it and were giggling the entire time.

Swimming/Fish Boil

We went to the Christopherson fish boil/swimming party when Lisa was home recently.  The girls just love spending time with their cousins and the weather was perfect for swimming in the lake.

Saturday Morning Fun!

We went to the local park and spent some time smelling the flowers, jumping in puddles, finding crayfish and watching Rookie cool off in the water.

Fair Time!

We went to the St. Croix County fair and the girls were super excited because they got to spend some time with Maggie too.  The train ride was the first ride and afterward Bailee was picked up by the ride attendant and after that wanted nothing more to do with rides.  Luckily the pony ride at the end was great and was her favorite part.

Twins Time!

Lance and I had a date night this last week and got to see the Twins play the Baltimore Orioles at Target Field.  Thanks to a vendor that I work with we got to watch it all from a suite.  Definitely felt spoiled that night and it ended well with the Twins winning.

Buck Time

We have lots of deer around our house but normally we see a lot of does.  I got a couple pictures of a buck that was hanging out eating some of the weeds in the back.  Not really close and so you can't see the rack very well.  It was decent size though.

Fun at Ike Walton

We went up to Ike Walton resort with Lance's mom, Bob, Linda, Tom, Rusty, Tamara and cousins, Heidi, Becky and their families.  It was a great weekend and we made some good memories.

The girls get sunscreen put on them constantly right now.  Aftin is taking a toy bottle and pretending to put sunscreen on Bailee in this video. 

River Time!

Last weekend we spent time on the river with Rusty and Tamara.  It was beautiful outside and the girls spent the majority of the time in the water.

It's hard to tell, but Lance had a dragonfly on his shirt and it stayed there for a really long time.  At one point it was letting Lance pet it.  The girls were staring at it and thought it was so cool.

Back on the boat after spending the morning swimming.  They were so tired and fell asleep on the way back to the boat landing.
