Trick or Treat Time!

The girls and I met up with our friend Jenny, Cody and Haley in Amery today to go to the costume contest and trick or treat around the businesses on main street.  Cody was Kyle Busch the Nascar driver, Haley was a skunk and the girls were Cinderella and Rapunzel.  It was a little chilly but worth the fun times with our friends.  We lucked out and Arynn was able to join us.

Giggle Factory!

While Lance was up North on a guy's weekend the girls and I met up up with Susie and Maggie at the Giggle Factory in Hudson.  It was our first time there and the girls were excited to run around, scream and climb the indoor playground.  We ended up going back the next day to hang out with my friend Meagan.

Apple Orchard Time!

One of our favorite things to do is go to Aamodt's Apple Farm when fall comes.  The first time we went with the girls is here and my how times change in such a short amount of time.  We hung out with Grampie, Grammie, Uncle Rusty and (Auntie) Tamara and although it was on the chilly side we made the best of it.  Plus we left with kettle corn, apple butter and apple crisp.  Delicious!

Time to Celebrate!

We celebrated Susie's birthday recently at Brady's Brewhouse.  We always have a great time, even with 3 toddlers that don't want to sit in their seats.  Tommy was an angel as usual and got lots of cuddle time with Lance.  He pretty much hogged him the entire time while I spent the time taking little girls to the bathroom.  Good times with Team McNelson!

Cousin Time!

The girls spent Friday night at Nana and Papa's house and they got to spend a lot of time with all their cousins (minus Arynn who had a volleyball tournament).  The girls came home on Saturday very tired, but they had a blast and we went back on Sunday to spend a little more time with everyone so I added all the pictures into one post.  I missed getting pictures of Dillan and Aidan, but the boys are so active they were running around the entire time.

Potty Time Update

I just realized that I didn't update on the progress of potty training so here it goes, better late than never.  The girls have been pretty much accident free for a few months now.  Within the last month and a half they have been only using pull-ups at night time and are in undies over nap time.  They have been so great at staying dry over night these last few weeks that I think we will try to not use the pull-ups soon too.  So the girls continue to amaze me with how quickly they are changing.  I can't believe another milestone has been hit and it really emphasizes that our girls are no longer babies and as they say all the time now, they are big girls that are getting bigger and bigger and bigger. 

Costume Time!

I picked up the girls' halloween costumes this last weekend and had them try them on so I knew they fit.  This is their "say cheese" face.  I think we'll need to work on posing, but they did love their costumes.  So much so that they didn't want to take them off.  I am trying to decide if I need to get them wigs still to pull of Rapunzel and Cinderella.  My little princesses.

Friday Night Fun!

The McNamara family came over to visit last Friday night and the girls got to meet Tommy.  They were so excited to see their BFF Maggie too.  The three girls were crazy most of the time, so we heard lots of giggling, screaming and running around the house.  The most popular topic between them is camping.  They are going to be camping buddies for years to come and it's adorable to hear them talk about it at 2 1/2.  Tommy is the cutest little baby boy and he's so fun to hold.  We can't wait to hang out again soon!

Time to Race

Lance went to our nephew Brandon's mountain bike race this last Sunday.  It was a gorgeous day and Lance (and Rookie) loved every minute of it.  He came home talking about racing next year when he's healed.  We are really proud of Brandon for going out and doing the race since it was all new to him.  Next time our whole family will have to cheer him on.  Go Brandon!

Cody and Haley Visit!

We had our friends Cody and Haley come visit on Sunday.  I can't believe how much they change in such a short time.  Haley is now walking and climbing stairs.  She's Jenny's little dare devil and could wait to ride on the go cart with her.  The girls love hanging out with them and it was so beautiful that we had to get in as much outdoor time as we could.

Como Zoo Time!

We met up with The Patterson family and (Auntie) Tamara on Saturday and spent a beautiful day (80 degrees at the end of September) at the Como Zoo.  We finally did some rides at Como Town too and the girls had so much fun! 

I decided I need to do more family pictures even if they don't turn out the best.
