Memorial Day!

We went to Grandpa Lenny's house on Memorial day to visit for a while and Lance, Jason and Blake got some projects done.  The girls and Auntie Jenni and I went over to Lance's aunt Cathy's house to see all of her flowers.  The pictures below are just a small piece of all the beautiful landscaping and flowers that she has around her house.  Unbelievable!

Cabin Time - Memorial Day Style!

We headed up to the cabin for part of the Memorial Day weekend and did some fishing, boating, lounging, eating and drinking.  Doesn't get any better than this!

Kennedy turns 14!

We celebrated Kennedy's 14th birthday this last weekend at the cabin.  Of course she requested a full on camo cake.  Grandma Jeanne didn't disappoint with this amazing cake and what I didn't get a picture of is that the cake itself was camo on the inside too.  She's amazing at making these cakes!  Can't believe Kennedy is 14!!

Family Time!

We spent time at Mary Park after work but I didn't get any pictures.  After dinner we headed to "Rookie's Park" and then headed to Starr Elementary last Friday night.  The weather was amazing and the girls couldn't get enough of it.

Our nephew Blake and his baseball team qualified for state!! So proud of him!

Boat Time!

We got on the boat for the first time of the season a few weeks ago.  The girls got to spend time checking out the turtles and reading some books while Lance fished.  The river was so high and so we went into spots we normally wouldn't be able to get to later in the season, so we had to check those out.

Team McNelson

The team got together recently and enjoyed the awesome weather.  Lance and Tina spent time fishing and Susie and I spent time having a few beverages while watching the kids play outside.  Can't wait for more times like these this summer!

Flashback Time!

I have this picture of Michelle and I from when we were really little.  I couldn't help but see how much Aftin looks like me though much cuter.  Love this picture!

Singing Time!

Aftin and I went to Arynn's choir concert and it was so fun to see her get all dressed up and sing and then we got to check out all the art she had finished for the year.

Mother's Day 2014

We celebrated Mother's Day with Grammie, Grampie, Auntie Jenni, Auntie Michelle and Uncle Buddy, Jason and all the cousins.  It was beautiful outside so we spent most of the day playing soccer, riding go cart, dirt bike and playing catch.  I was given beautiful flowers and the best part was spending time with family and friends.  I loved it and feel so blessed! 

Play Date Time!

The girls had their friend Azlynn over for for a play date this last weekend.  They were so excited and talked about having her over all week.  The weather was great and the girls spent most the of time outside.  They are already talking about the next time they get to have a play date with her.

Baseball Time!

We went to a couple of Blake's baseball games this past week.  He did such a great job and we are so proud of him!

Dentist Time!

The girls had their second teeth cleaning and did just as great with it as they did with the first time.  Bailee even let Dr. Mike check out her teeth this time which as awesome.  I actually had a picture of Bailee with the sunglasses on too, but Aftin accidently deleted the picture when playing with my phone.
