Game Day!

The girls wore their Viking gear on Sunday for the football game. I am not a fan of the purple and gold, I prefer them in Packer green and gold. Lucky for their daddy his team won. I will get some pictures up of them in their Packer gear too.

Fun at Aamodt's!

We went to Aamodt's apple orchard on Saturday afternoon with Grampie, Grammie, Uncle Rusty, our friend Travis and the girls. We did this prior to going to Uncle Rusty's birthday dinner at BC's Mongolian in Stillwater.

Amery Fall Festival

The girls celebrated Amery Fall Festival for the first time. It was pretty chilly that morning so we were lucky to have blankets from Amanda's house to help keep the girls warm. Here are a couple pictures of the whole family during the parade.

Puff Time

The girls have started eating puffs and now cheerios. They love them even when they don't always get them in their mouths. Here are some pictures of them trying them out for the first time. You can also see their teeth in some of these pictures too. I tried to get a picture of them holding hands between their high chairs but of course when the camera comes out they stop doing it.

Grandpa Lenny

Lance's dad, Grandpa Lenny came for dinner for Lance's birthday recently. He fed both Bailee and Aftin but I was only able to get pictures of Bailee because the food was cooking. They love the quality time with their grandparents. After dinner Grandpa Lenny and Lance played cribbage and Grandpa Lenny won each game. Poor daddy.

Wildlife

We had some visitors join us in our backyard recently. Here are a few shots that I got of the deer that walked up from the back woods. They stayed until Rookie came into the backyard. They noticed him, but he didn't even see or notice them until they were already running back down the path into the woods.

Aftin and Bailee Update

I add so many pictures and events to the blog but don't write updates very often so here's an update on what the girls have been up to recently. Aftin has begun to say mama quite a bit and Bailee is obsessed with sticking her tongue out and slobbering out noises. They are in love with Rookie and Stoli and daddy likes to have them ride Rookie as much as possible. Rookie is now starting to get more attached to them and spends a lot of time sniffing their heads, feet and hands. They have been visiting with their Auntie Michelle and Maddyx recently during the days that we are at work and love it at their house. Their cousin Kennedy loves to walk around holding them and makes sure to give them a lot of attention. Alexis loves to talk to them and gives them close ups of her face all the time. Cole still likes to call them hi and precious here and there and really likes their exersaucers and also Maddyx's stroller when he's tired. The girls take 2 naps normally during the day and sleep best at Auntie Michelle's house (Bailee slept 3 1/2 hours there recently for one nap). They have begun eating puffs and cheerios as well as baby food. They love the fruit and enjoying using their new teeth to crunch on the cheerios. Teething hasn't been awful, though we go through a lot more diapers then before. They are very aware of everyone around them and don't like to be left to play on their own anymore. Aftin sleeps about 9 hours a night and Bailee is our snoozer, she usually sleeps 12 hours. The girls still go to Grammie and Grampie Jeannie and Bob's house on Tuesday and Thursdays and get to see all of Grammie's friends at coffee. Papa Gary came and did daycare so that I could work recently as well and they love grabbing his face. We went to Fall Festival in Amery a couple weekends ago and the girls got to see all their cousins and aunts and uncles and friends. Overall the girls have so much love around them and are growing happy and healthy.

Tummy Time!

The girls still love their tummy time. They have been getting up in the crawling position and rocking back and forth so I think that's coming next.

The Girls and Maddyx

The girls visited with their cousin Maddyx at his house. Auntie Michelle had made some chili and invited us over to enjoy. It was a perfect night for it.

Lance celebrated his 35th birthday with family and friends but this was my favorite part of the day, right before bedtime for the girls.

We got the family and friends together for Lance's birthday on Sunday. The kids made cards for their uncle Lance and it was so sweet how they gathered around him to watch him open and read them. The girls got to spend some quality time with their friends Mateo and Luciana and all their cousins.
I see a lot of Bailee in my nephew Mason.
