The girls had on their Packer and Viking cheerleader outfits on for the big Sunday night game. Lance got the Packer outfit when I was still pregnant and we just got the Viking outfit recently. We had to be fair to both teams that we cheer for.
We went over to Tina and Susie's to celebrate Susie's birthday. The girls had so much fun cooking and then playing with the activity tables. Wow, have they changed.
My friend Brigitte made these beautiful handmade sweaters for the girls. I was so excited to have them wear them since I got the first one when I was still pregnant. Because we didn't know that Aftin was a girl at the time Brigitte waited until I had them to finish the second sweater. I got the second sweater this last week and the girls showed them off on Saturday. Thanks again Brigitte, we love them!!
The girls tried cottage cheese for the first time and they were making some hilarious faces. Not sure what they think of it yet. We will have to try again soon.
We visited with Great Grandma Puttbrese on Sunday. Here's the best picture I have of the visit. I am hoping to get a better picture from Great Aunt Sandy.
The girls were at Auntie Michelle's house for a party and got to see their friends Maddy, Amaris, Jax and cousin Maddyx. They had a great time until they fell asleep.
I promised pictures of the girls in their Packer gear, so before last week's game I put on their new onesies and they spent most of the game asleep, but enjoyed the little bit they saw. As soon as they can start talking "GO PACK" will be taught as well.
We married in 2008 and I actually started this blog then but didn't do anything with it until our lives changed forever when we welcomed twin girls, Aftin and Bailee, on February 10, 2010. Since then I have been tracking all the memories that we have been making. Time is flying now and we wouldn't change anything other than to slow down so that we can cherish every minute we have with our angels.
