Bailee and Her Bean Stalks

Bailee and Aftin started growing green and wax beans at school a month ago from seeds and unfortunately Aftin's didn't make it, but Bailee's was very successful.  I had to get a picture because every day she would check out the progress.  I am glad I got a picture because 2 days later Stoli got on the counter and chewed the bean stalks down to nothing.  A bit heart breaking, but we have decided to get a small garden set up outside for the girls this summer, so that made up for it. 

Gymnastics Time - Vault and Balance Beam

The girls just love Thursdays because it's when they go to gymnastics.  They have learned so much with their balance and agility in such a short amount of time.  I am really impressed with their teacher, Mr. Jon, and the patience and attention he gives each student.  They have one more class this week but started tumbling this last Monday and Mr. Jon is their teacher again.  They also have their friend Payton in this class, which they think is so fun.  So more pics to come with this new activity. 

 

First Day - 4K!!!

The girls start 4K in New Richmond this last Tuesday and I can't believe they are big enough to be in school already!!  It was such a proud day for Lance and I and it's a big change for the girls since they are in separate classrooms.  So they only see each other during lunch.  They love it so far and I am so happy that we chose First Lutheran as their daycare and school.

Birdhouse Time!

You can tell by the first picture that the girls were so excited to paint their birdhouses.  They did a great job and the end result is very colorful.  We have since hung them up and take a walk out in the woods to see if a bird family has moved in.  So far no takers, but they haven't been on the market for very long.

Easter Time - Part 3

After church we had the families over for a great, ham dinner, Easter egg hunt and kickball tournament.  This year's captains were Kennedy and Cole and though I was picked last (it was down to Sherry and I) my team (Cole) still won.  I think it may be based on my amazing pitching skills, or the fact that we had most of the adults on our team.  We also got to spend our first holiday with Baby Sawyer.  She's beyond sweet and so cuddly.  I couldn't ask for a better day with wonderful family and friends.
