Camping at William O'Brien - Part Two

Buddy, Michelle, their kids and our family spent the second day at William O'Brien at the beach because it was nearly 90 and beautiful out.  The kids had so much fun in the water and it was the best part of the camping trip.  That night we had a great visit from Grammie, Grampie, Nana and Papa to celebrate some birthdays.  It was a great way to end our trip.

 For Lance's birthday we went camping at William O'Brien campground and Buddy, Michelle and kids joined us.  It was hot but we made the best of it.  Grandpa Lenny and Jason visited the first night which made the girls so happy.

Daddy turns 38!

 We celebrated Lance's 38th birthday a couple weeks ago.  Bailee wanted to wear a crown to celebrate.  This was the best picture I could do for a picture that night.



Labor Day at the Lake

We spent most of Labor Day weekend at the cabin and it was so fun to have so many relatives and family join us.

It went from hot to cool, so time for a fire.  The kids loved the s'mores we made after dark.

State Fair Time!

Lance and I went to the MN State Fair over Labor Day weekend and it was hot, hot, hot so we decided next year will be the girls first year going.  Thanks Uncle Rusty and Auntie Tamara for spending time with the girls so that we could go.  I took a couple pics of the Lorax display for them because they love that movie and knew they would get a kick out of it.

We couldn't go to Hayward without stopping at the fishing museum and seeing the largest muskie in WI.  It was beyond hot that day but the kids didn't seem to mind so we made the best of it.  Cole and Lance caught a fish in the big pond and the other kids ran around most of the time.  It was a good end to the trip.

Camping Time - Hayward!

We went camping with Buddy, Michelle and the kids in Hayward this last weekend.  It was a quick weekend since neither of us took off on Friday, so we jammed a lot into it.  We hung out at the playground, did some mini golf, the kids played on the bouncing pillow, we used the pool (which was very cold), made s'mores and at times dealt with mini tantrums with three 3 year olds.  It was a mixture of chaos and fun and I love that the girls spend so much time with their cousins.

A Day at the Cabin!

The same weekend as the Breath of Hope 5k we headed to the cabin to enjoy some lake time.  The kids had so much fun on the hotdog tube that Papa got them and Lance spent the majority of the time on the jet ski with all the kids.  It was beautiful weather and I loved relaxing in the sun.  Gotta soak up as much of summer as possible.

Breath of Hope - Team Grizzly and Darwin's Defenders

We joined our family and friends to run and walk the Breath of Hope lung cancer 5k this last weekend around Lake Calhoun.  We participated in support/honor of both Grampie (Grizzly) and our friend Darwin.  I was so proud of the amount of people I saw supporting such a wonderful cause.  Plus the weather was awesome for running.  I am looking forward to it next year.
