We went up to St. Cloud this last weekend to run the Earth Day 1k (girls), 5k (me) and half marathon (Lance). It was such a great weekend, even though the weather didn't cooperate (30's and windy). The girls did their run at 6:00 on Friday night, I did mine right after at 6:30 and Lance did his on Saturday morning at 8:30. Aftin was such a champ and ran most of her race. Bailee wasn't as thrilled and there was a little crying involved. My race was okay, not as fast as I had hoped (37:56), but with the weather I was fine with it. Lance did great and finished the half in 1 hour 57 minutes. The rest of the weekend was spent swimming and relaxing. Can't wait to do more running with the girls this summer. This is just the beginning!
