We headed out to our favorite camping site on the St. Croix river this last weekend with Team McNelson. It was amazing weather, which we haven't seen a lot of this summer so far and the kids had so much fun. We got out on Friday and set up camp and found that I had bought a charcoal grill versus a propane. Luckily Tina and Susie had charcoal but unfortunately no lighter fluid, so needless to say our food was luke warm. Saturday we hung out for a while before taking a boat ride into Stillwater where we docked and then had lunch at Smalley's and dessert at Cherry Berry. After we got back to the campsite Lance, Tina, Tommy and Maggie went and got Jeannie who brought the necessary supplies that we had forgotten. She spent the afternoon with us and then Saturday night we just relaxed around the fire. Sunday we packed up and before heading out we did some tubing. Tommy has been the youngest camper so far with our team and been MVP each time. It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again next year. Here's our trip from
2012.
